Deactivate Your Accept Business
One of the great things about Accept is that we only charge per transaction, so there’s no cost to keep your account open if you’re a seasonal business, using our subscription products, or switching to a new processor.
Cancel your Accept Online subscriptions and services
If your Accept account uses Accept Online, please cancel all of the subscriptions and services in your Accept Online account.
Note: Your Accept Online account is an extension of your primary Accept account with integrated billing management. Deactivating your Accept payments account will also deactivate your Accept Online services and subscriptions.
What to do with Your Accept Hardware
Accept readers and third-party hardware are universal, and can be used with any payment processor connected to your Accept account.

Deactivate Your Account
There is no cost associated with keeping your Accept account open. However, if you’re still interested in deactivating your account, you can do so by contacting us through your online Accept Dashboard.
Note: Once deactivated, you will not be able to reactivate your existing account. You will need to create a new Accept account should you decide to begin using Accept again.
Keep in mind that Accept accounts can be created for free, and you’re welcome to create a new one at any time. We’re sad to see you go, but are happy to have been a part of your growing business. We wish you the very best, and hope to work with you again in the future.
